Building Nations Initiative (BNI) is a dynamic youth-led organization dedicated to fostering community development through non-formal education, early childhood, and youth development services. Our mission is to empower children, youth, and families by providing impactful programs at our community youth centers.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a:
Job Title: Programme Intern
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of youth-focused programs and community development initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of educational and developmental activities for children and youth.
- Engage with community members and stakeholders to enhance program outreach and impact.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field at the University of Ibadan.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for youth work, community development, and social policy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
