Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support the Project Coordinator in implementing and monitoring project activities in Adamawa State. This role ensures seamless project operations and adherence to both SFCG and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Event and Workshop Coordination:
- Plan and implement events, manage invitations, track registrations, and liaise with service providers.
- Develop draft activity reports and collate records post-event.

Logistics and Administration:
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and training, including participant coordination and material distribution.
- Maintain detailed notes during internal team meetings and assist in designing and delivering project activities.

Project Management Support:
- Contribute to detailed, costed project work plans in collaboration with the project team.
- Ensure timely and quality production of project reports and updates on new developments or challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Peace Building, Development Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 1 year in project implementation, engaging with various stakeholders including governments and civil society.
- Skills:
- Understanding of North East and North Central Nigeria’s political, social, security, and economic landscape.
- Fluency in Hausa, Fulfulde, or other local languages, and English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team.
