We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Project Cost Controller (In-Country) located in Warri, Delta. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. The Project Cost Controller collaborates closely with project managers to develop and implement cost control procedures, estimate project costs accurately, and optimize budgetary profits.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include setting up cost control procedures, preparing project budgets, estimating total forecasts, and identifying items with significant cost impacts. Additionally, the Project Cost Controller is responsible for preparing change orders, monitoring project expenditures, and providing timely cost-related reporting to management.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 5-7 years of experience in project control and cost management within the oil and gas sector. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is preferred, along with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
