Job Opportunity: Project Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Plan, schedule, and monitor assigned projects
- Develop project plans, cost estimates, and perform engineering calculations
- Ensure compliance with codes, practices, QA/QC, policies, and specifications
- Review and interpret contracts, taking corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with project manager and participants for effective communication and technical support
- Establish equipment specifications for projects
- Collect and evaluate project data, meeting clients' needs, and representing their interests
- Innovate ways to mitigate contract loopholes and apply corrective actions
- Interact with clients daily, interpreting their requirements and representing them in the field
- Implement quality control measures on budgets, plans, and schedules
- Oversee all technical aspects of a project
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Engineering or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience
- Project planning skills, including plan creation, scheduling, and execution
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred
- Ability to interface with clients and contractors
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Project management skills, including timeline and budget management
- Project engineering skills, overseeing all technical aspects of a project
