We are currently seeking to fill the position below:
Job Title: Purchasing Officer
Locations: Okota and Chevron - Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities
- Vendor Research: Identify and assess potential vendors to source the best products and services.
- Offer Comparison: Compare and evaluate offers from various suppliers to determine the best options.
- Record Maintenance: Keep comprehensive and updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Report Preparation: Generate detailed reports on purchases, including cost analyses to help manage budgets effectively.
- Stock Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Warehouse Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of products.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Order Tracking: Track orders and ensure timely delivery to meet business needs.
- Quality Review: Inspect and review the quality of purchased products to maintain high standards.
- Database Entry: Accurately enter order details such as vendors, quantities, and prices into internal databases.
Requirements
- Qualifications: OND / HND in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a purchasing or related role.
- Salary: N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
