Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Brief

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that our plant follows quality protocols and consistently produces top-quality products. The ideal candidate will communicate quality procedures effectively and develop long-term sustainable practices to uphold superior product standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to standards set by PCI and regulatory policies regarding good manufacturing practices.
• Liaise with PCI and government officials concerning product quality, processes, packaging, and consumer relations.
• Provide management with timely, accurate reports on quality performance across regions and trade.
• Develop strategic programs to achieve sustainable product quality in the regions.
• Oversee quality assurance audits, including AIB, QAS, GFIS, etc.
• Manage quality control to ensure product compliance with company standards.
• Lead initiatives for product and process quality improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage issues with non-conforming products to minimize losses.
• Advise on compliance with new government regulations related to manufacturing quality and activities.
• Conduct regular surveys to improve product quality and reduce waste.
• Maintain a regional database for plant and product performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Science and Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in the CSD industry, with 2 years in a managerial role within quality control/assurance at a food and beverage company.
• Knowledge of bottling operations and operational planning.
• Expertise in current manufacturing methodologies, GMP, and GHK (5S) standards.
• Understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
• Proven experience in budgeting and people management.
• Familiarity with all aspects of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health, and Safety.
