Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Control Officer to ensure that our furniture manufacturing processes maintain the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production, conducting inspections, and ensuring that raw materials and finished products meet industry and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards at every stage.

Inspect raw materials and finished products using precise measurement tools to verify compliance with specifications.

Conduct durability, functionality, and safety tests to validate product performance and reliability.

Identify areas for improvement in production machinery, workflow, and quality control processes.

Develop and implement inspection protocols to enhance quality assurance procedures.

Investigate customer complaints related to quality, determine root causes, and collaborate on preventive solutions.

Enforce safety regulations during inspections and production to maintain a secure workplace.

Maintain accurate records of quality checks, documenting defects and deviations for traceability.

Communicate defects and quality concerns to supervisors and coordinate corrective actions.

Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality control.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience in a similar quality control role within a manufacturing company.

Prior experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in using quality control tools and measurement instruments.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while ensuring high standards.
Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 per month.
