Job Description
The Quality, Safety, and Environment Manager will oversee the quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems within our production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with government regulations, manage daily production scheduling, supervise team activities, and ensure optimal utilization of raw and packing materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality, health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., NAFDAC, SON, CPC).
- Oversee production execution, report activities, and monitor metrics to improve efficiency.
- Ensure optimal raw and packing material utilization to minimize waste and maximize yield.
- Supervise water treatment and syrup mixing operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Manage daily production shift schedules and supervise the production team to ensure high performance and timely operations.
- Facilitate staff training on quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in quality, safety, and environmental management within a production environment, including 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
- In-depth understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
