Job Summary

As a Quantity Surveyor at Talent Towers, you'll oversee all cost aspects of building and civil engineering projects, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Collaborating closely with project managers, you'll optimize profitability while adhering to legal and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Accurately assess project costs based on architectural plans and specifications, exploring cost-saving measures.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring variances and recommending cost controls.
• Tendering Process: Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations, and assist in subcontractor selection.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts, handle correspondence, and ensure compliance with terms.
• Final Accounts and Project Closeout: Negotiate final accounts, facilitate project closeouts, and conduct quantity take-offs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on construction regulations, ensuring projects meet legal requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and participate in value engineering exercises.
• Cost Reporting: Generate cost reports, communicate with project stakeholders, and advise on cost-effective design alternatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in construction Quantity Surveying.
• Proficiency in relevant software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Salary
N220,000 Monthly.
