Join Our Team: Regional Sales Manager - Northern Nigeria
Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Northern Nigeria market. The dairy market in Nigeria is segmented into two key areas: the Open Market and the Institutional segment. The Open Market is a significant portion, with large distributors servicing smaller retailers and artisanal dairy manufacturers across the country. This segment constitutes about 20% of Nigeria’s dairy imports and is characterized by high-margin trade, requiring an FMCG-like distribution network.
OFI’s dairy brands, such as Lactorich, Supercow, Preplait, and Milk House Blue, are well-known and trusted nationwide, commanding a 10% premium over our closest competitors. The Northern region is crucial to our operations, contributing 70% of our overall volumes. In FY24, we achieved close to 1000 MT per month, generating approximately $50 million annually. Our goal is to grow this business to 1400 MT per month, equating to $70 million in annual revenue.
To achieve this ambitious growth, we need a dedicated and skilled Regional Sales Manager to help address distribution gaps in the Northern region. This senior role offers the opportunity for career progression, with the potential for advancement to the National Sales Manager (NSM) position.
