Job Title: Research Director

Location: Ikeja GRA, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

Research Design & Methodology

• Lead research study designs, defining objectives, methodologies, data collection techniques, and analytical approaches.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative methodologies tailored to specific project needs.
• Ensure research processes are scientific, ethical, and industry-compliant.

Client Engagement & Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their research needs.
• Serve as the primary contact for client updates on ongoing research projects.
• Participate in client presentations, providing insights and recommendations.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay updated on trends, tools, and methodologies in research and data analysis.
• Implement new research techniques that enhance study accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify gaps in current processes and propose innovative improvements.

Data Collection & Analysis

• Conduct data collection via surveys, interviews, focus groups, or secondary analysis.
• Perform complex data analysis using advanced statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Python).
• Utilize predictive analytics to interpret trends and patterns.

Reporting & Presentation of Findings

• Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable reports for management and clients.
• Create visual data representations (charts, infographics) for better understanding.
• Prepare research reports, white papers, and publications.

Project Management

• Manage multiple research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and project stakeholders.
• Oversee external vendors and research partners to ensure quality deliverables.

Ethics & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies in all research activities.
• Maintain data confidentiality and uphold research integrity.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely and accurate project completion.
• Implementation of innovative research tools.
• Publication of findings in reputable journals.
• Quality and clarity of reports and presentations.
• High client satisfaction and feedback.
• Effective project management within deadlines and budgets.

Key Qualifications

Education

• Master’s Degree in Research Methodology, Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field. PhD preferred but not required.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in a research-oriented role, preferably within a consultancy.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering high-quality research projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong communication skills for data reporting and presentation.
• Exceptional project management abilities.
• Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS).

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Working Conditions

• Fully onsite.
• Occasional travel may be required for presentations or fieldwork.

Salary

N900,000 - N1,200,000 Monthly.
