Job Title: Senior Healthcare Representative
Job Summary
The Senior Healthcare Representative is responsible for launching new products, managing business relationships, understanding formulary access, and promoting products within assigned accounts. This role includes sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement the most efficient virtual/in-person engagement strategies to maximize overall effectiveness and impact.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, adapting based on self-identified opportunities and insights.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers across virtual and F2F environments; manage to KPIs.
- Utilize current digital tools effectively (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Office) and adapt quickly to new tools for successful customer engagement.
- Compliantly engage key customers to grow business and drive product demand by providing education that best meets HCP and patients' needs.
- Deliver relevant, targeted messaging using approved materials to drive product demand and leverage account priorities for positive business outcomes.
- Educate providers on unbranded and branded product value propositions for relevant patient populations.
- Plan for customer engagements in multiple formats (virtual and in-person).
- Deploy approved Pfizer resources to support provider and patient's needs; integrate guidance from management and support functions into pre-call planning.
- Support patients' access to Pfizer products by providing relevant information on reimbursement, patient assistance programs, and co-pay resources.
- Present terms of sale or existing contract terms appropriately and answer on-label questions.
- Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross-functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience.
- Strong territory management skills and outstanding communication skills.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliance with company driving standards.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
- Strategic account management skills and ability to develop comprehensive territory plans.
- Ability to overcome obstacles to gain access to health care providers and customers.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success and business acumen.
