APM Terminals, the esteemed terminal operating arm of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, spans a Global Terminal Network, comprising 76 port and terminal facilities across 59 countries. As part of our commitment to excellence, we're seeking a skilled RTG Technician to join our team in Port Harcourt, Rivers, on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment in workshop, crane, and RTG sections.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose Cranes (STS and RTG), heavy and light terminal equipment.
- Provide comprehensive written reports on equipment status.
- Adhere to labor regulations, HSSE policies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain knowledge in relevant field.
- Ensure safety compliance and workshop cleanliness.
Requirements:
- High school diploma with vocational/technical education, preferably in electrical technology.
- Three years of general experience in crane maintenance, plus two years of quay crane and RTG maintenance.
- Proficiency in digital and analog electronics, ability to follow instructions, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with interpreting electrical/electronic diagrams and components.
