Job Description
Elum Energy seeks passionate individuals to revolutionize the future of renewable energy. As a Sales Manager, you'll collaborate with our South Africa-based Area Sales Manager to spearhead business expansion in West Africa:
Direct Sales:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new leads, tailor proposals to client needs, and cultivate relationships with potential partners.

Account Management: Nurture existing client relationships, understand their project pipelines, and deliver tailored proposals to meet their objectives.
Distribution Management:

Strategy Development: Formulate distribution strategies to optimize sales, secure internal buy-in, and execute plans effectively.

Partnership Oversight: Direct distributor activities, negotiate agreements, provide training, and support sales initiatives.
Reporting:
- Sales Analytics: Maintain detailed sales records, prepare reports, and facilitate communication between logistics and customers.
Market Analysis:
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, evaluate opportunities, and identify key industry events for participation.
Communication / Marketing:
- Brand Representation: Represent Elum Energy at industry events and engage in effective communication and marketing initiatives.
Requirements

Education: Master's degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.

Experience: Previous international sales experience, particularly in the solar energy sector, is advantageous.

Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills are essential, along with adaptability and a proactive mindset.

Language: Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.

Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the solar energy market in Nigeria is highly desirable.
