Role Description

As a Sales Officer, you'll be responsible for customer service, lead generation, communication, and driving sales operations. This hybrid role allows for both in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Close deals on solar installations (solar panels, roofing shingles, battery storage, inverters).
  • Prospect new clients and qualify leads via cold calls and door-to-door marketing.
  • Provide accurate product information and recommend suitable solutions for customer energy needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate prices and contracts to secure sales and partnerships.
  • Maintain a database of leads and prioritize outreach.
  • Educate customers on solar energy benefits, including cost savings and incentives.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Present sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Conduct site visits to assess customer energy needs and recommend optimal solar systems.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create customized solar proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in solar, energy, or utilities.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets exceeding NGN 50 million annually.
  • Experience in customer service, communication, and lead generation.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Renewable energy or tech industry experience is a plus.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • On Target Earnings: NGN 3,400,000 - NGN 4,800,000
