We're currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in Lagos for the position of Well Placement/Geosteering Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.
- Collaborate in developing technical job designs for Business Lines.
- Identify opportunities for the application of new, cost-effective techniques.
- Explore avenues for value-added products and services.
- Stay abreast of competitors' technical offerings.
- Maintain customer engagement through professional society activities and technical publications.
- Foster relationships with local universities, customer institutes, and research organizations.
- Optimize technical designs in consultation with Design/Technical Engineers.
- Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation within the area of expertise.
- Evaluate technical viability and tender appraisals.
Requirements:
We're seeking individuals who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, adept problem solvers, highly adaptable, performance-driven, and collaborative. Qualifications include:
- Master’s Degree in Geology, Petrophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience with MWD/LWD preferred.
- Well placement/geosteering experience is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Geologist or Petrophysicist considered.
