Job Title: Sea / Air Shipping Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Open & close shipment (sea and air freight) hardcopy files.
• Apply for Sea & Air freight Import SONCAP Certificates and follow up.
• Collaborate with LCAs on PAAR utilization.
• Update PAAR progress on the W-Drive.
• Prepare weekly PAAR application status and monthly PAAR utilization reports.
• Manage updates to the Transit E-archive.
• Apply for Sea & Air freight Import PAAR and follow up with the bank.
• Communicate PAARs and other shipping documents to LCAs.
• Reconcile and respond to Customs DNs and related queries.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Job Requirements

• A degree in Social Science or Engineering-related course.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management software.
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
• Ability to interface effectively with contractors.
