Headquartered at 17 Simbiat Abiola Road, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, our airline operates across Nigeria and West Africa, with a commitment to enhancing connectivity and economic growth in the region. Since commencing operations in 2002, our mission has been to offer reliable and seamless air transportation for both business and leisure travelers, bridging major hub cities and remote destinations.
As a pioneer in many of our routes, Overland Airways continues to lead the industry with scheduled flights across Nigeria and parts of West Africa, as well as charter services to West and Central Africa.

Job Title: Second Officer
Location: Lagos
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating domestic and regional flights within West Africa, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and navigate aircraft for domestic and regional flights.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure a smooth and timely flight experience for passengers.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and assist with post-flight procedures.
Requirements
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME), and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificates.
- Minimum of 200 flight hours from a recognized flight school.
- Type rating on the B1900, ATR 42/72, or E-JET 170 is an advantage, though not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid ICAO Pilot or Engineer License.
- Nigerian candidates not type-rated on company aircraft will be provided with training (bond conditions apply).
