Responsibilities

As a Section Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring consistent product quality and food safety compliance.

  • Managing the installation and vertical startup of new equipment and production lines.

  • Achieving production targets and ensuring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) for both making and packing sections.

  • Leading plant reliability, maintenance, and operational improvements.

  • Conducting daily plant walkthroughs to maintain high operational standards.

  • Driving total productive maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma initiatives.

  • Overseeing the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

  • Managing and developing a team to ensure smooth plant operations.

  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, including GMP and food safety requirements.

  • Reducing waste, improving production efficiency, and driving cost-saving initiatives.

  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Engineering or Sciences from a reputable institution.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a process plant, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams.

  • Expertise in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems.

  • Experience with TPM, Six Sigma, and World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.

  • A solid understanding of raw materials and their impact on product quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data interpretation.
