Amperity’s Field Marketing & Events team is seeking a Senior Event Marketing Manager to oversee our portfolio of sponsored and owned events. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the logistics and strategically driving pre- and post-event engagement. Your contributions will boost brand awareness, generate leads, and accelerate business opportunities while showcasing Amperity’s story and how we help customers.
Key responsibilities include engaging with teams across marketing, sales, and customer success to execute event strategies that inspire growth and create lasting impressions. You’ll have the chance to bring innovative ideas to life through events that stand out in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of event programs aimed at creating awareness, acquiring new customers, and growing existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to manage attendee engagement campaigns before, during, and after events across multiple channels (email, social, digital, etc.).
- Bring creativity and fresh ideas to make Amperity events more engaging and unique.
- Define and manage individual event plans, including setting objectives, budgeting, creating work-back plans, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Align event strategies with broader marketing objectives, such as pipeline generation and market awareness.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring efficient and seamless event execution.
About You
- 4-6 years of experience in SaaS event marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record in executing a variety of events, from virtual to field events, partner activations, and trade shows.
- Ability to maintain and manage a 12-month events calendar aligned with the company’s messaging and strategic goals.
- Experience negotiating contracts with vendors and managing subcontractors.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams.
- You are a natural leader who takes ownership of events and campaigns from concept to execution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a history of building trust across teams and stakeholders.
Location and Remote Flexibility
Amperity has offices in Seattle and New York City, but we are also hiring remotely in CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX, and WA.
Compensation
- Base salary: $85,000 - $120,000, determined based on various factors, including candidate qualifications, local market conditions, and internal equity.
