Responsibilities

  • Problem-Solving: Independently develop cost-effective solutions for customer requirements and issues related to gas turbine controls.
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, ensure compliance with company and customer safety policies, and contribute to safety meetings and improvements.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate feedback through predefined report formats, maintain equipment histories, and ensure effective communication with supervisors and customer representatives.
  • Schedule Management: Efficiently schedule personnel and materials to ensure smooth routine maintenance and commissioning of plants.
  • Time Management: Develop strategies for timely equipment maintenance and provide technical assistance to the operations and maintenance crew.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure maintenance activities align with company policy, manufacturer's recommendations, and best practices to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a sound understanding of gas turbine controls, including components/systems, and the ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Project Monitoring: Proactively identify potential safety issues, provide daily reports on project status, ensure parts availability, and manage personnel resources.

Qualifications

  • Technical qualification in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience working with gas turbine mechanical systems and advanced control systems.
  • Experience in both onshore and offshore environments.
  • In-depth understanding of rotating equipment packages.
  • Familiarity with gas turbine engine theory and package systems theory.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Suite, advanced software applications, and electronic hardware handling.
