Position Summary:

Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Type: Full-Time

We're seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to accounting procedures and standards. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial operations and contributing to our organization's success.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Operations: Drive seamless financial reporting processes, uphold internal controls, and provide insightful financial analysis.

• Closing and Financial Reporting: Oversee period-end close processes, review account reconciliations, and ensure timely financial reporting.

• Accounts Receivables: Manage vendor reconciliations and assess credit loss transactions.

• Internal Controls & Compliance: Collaborate with departments to maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Others: Coordinate external audits, support tax and regulatory reporting, and manage dividend reconciliations.

Requirements:

• B.Sc./HND in Finance or Accounting, Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) certification is mandatory.

• Minimum of ten years' experience, with significant managerial exposure.

• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards (IFRS, CAMA), and tax regulations.

• Prior experience in financial reporting, management accounting, costing, and auditing within FMCG companies.
