Position Summary:
Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time
We're seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to accounting procedures and standards. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial operations and contributing to our organization's success.
Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations: Drive seamless financial reporting processes, uphold internal controls, and provide insightful financial analysis.

Closing and Financial Reporting: Oversee period-end close processes, review account reconciliations, and ensure timely financial reporting.

Accounts Receivables: Manage vendor reconciliations and assess credit loss transactions.

Internal Controls & Compliance: Collaborate with departments to maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Others: Coordinate external audits, support tax and regulatory reporting, and manage dividend reconciliations.
Requirements:

B.Sc./HND in Finance or Accounting, Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) certification is mandatory.

Minimum of ten years' experience, with significant managerial exposure.

Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards (IFRS, CAMA), and tax regulations.

Prior experience in financial reporting, management accounting, costing, and auditing within FMCG companies.
