As a Senior Home Lending Advisor, you will:
- Coach and Mentor: Provide training and guidance to the branch team on products and services, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate and Network: Work closely with bankers, introduce new clients, and foster relationships to cross-sell additional products and services.
- Create Exceptional Experiences: Partner with your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences through various marketing channels, including direct mail, media ads, cross-sell initiatives, and relocation programs.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Develop effective relationships with retail branches to boost mortgage loan originations and thrive within both formal and informal reporting structures.
- Serve as a Mortgage Expert: Establish yourself as a go-to resource for mortgage advice and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
- Provide Expert Consultations: Offer personalized recommendations based on thorough financial analysis, in-depth product knowledge, and an understanding of the customer's financial goals and circumstances.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending experience and proven sales track record in retail banking
- Strong knowledge of the local real estate market
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Familiarity with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with FHA/VA sales
- Skills in marketing, promotion, relationship building, and consulting
- Intermediate proficiency with PC and Windows applications
Additional Requirements
This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent upon a review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant factors to ensure financial responsibility and good character. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you. Continued employment requires compliance with the SAFE Act of 2008, including NMLS registration and timely renewal.
