Position: Senior HR Manager

Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Human Resource Manager plays a pivotal role in formulating and executing the HR strategy in alignment with organizational goals. This role involves overseeing all facets of the employee lifecycle to ensure strategic synergy with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to enact HR strategies concerning talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
- Manage employee conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Offer guidance to management and staff on complex HR issues.
- Develop learning and development initiatives fostering internal growth.
- Oversee succession planning and wellness programs.
- Implement and manage performance review systems.
- Lead HR projects related to organizational development.
- Evaluate job descriptions and benchmark new roles.
- Develop and oversee diversity, equity, and inclusion plans.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and update policies accordingly.
- Manage HR budgets and contribute to organizational initiatives.
- Oversee employee offboarding processes and HR administration.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture aligned with ACF values.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in HR, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including 5 years in management roles.
- Experience in Pan-African or global non-profit organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with HR trends, best practices, and legislation.
