Position Overview
Astra Capital Group is seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join our remote team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that drive innovation across various business domains. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building end-to-end machine learning systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning Model Development:
- Design, build, and train models for predictive analytics, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, and more.
- Utilize advanced algorithms including supervised, unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Work with large datasets to apply preprocessing, feature engineering, and data augmentation techniques.

End-to-End ML Systems:
- Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning systems integrated into production environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Implement strategies for continuous model monitoring and retraining.

Model Optimization & Scaling:

- Use techniques like hyperparameter tuning, model compression, and parallelization to boost efficiency.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in machine learning or data science.
- Proficient in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and model evaluation metrics.
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, transformers).
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, including model versioning and CI/CD pipelines.
