Job Description
As the Senior Manager Client Marketing for West Africa, you will spearhead client relationships with banks, fintechs, and merchants to drive mutual value through strategic marketing and co-marketing initiatives. You will leverage Visa's marketing advisory services to deliver innovative solutions that enhance Visa's brand presence and client satisfaction across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead the implementation of strategic marketing programs aimed at achieving both Visa's and clients' business objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including the West Africa Marketing team, SSA Marketing Team, Marketing Hub, and local country teams to develop impactful marketing strategies.

Client Engagement: Develop deep partnerships with clients, providing Marketing Value-Added Services (VAS) such as marketing insights, co-creation sessions, and data-driven marketing strategies. Drive revenue growth through thought leadership and innovative marketing solutions.

Project Management: Oversee all aspects of client marketing projects including procurement processes, contract management, and vendor relationships. Manage project plans, agency briefings, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Operational Excellence: Manage internal Visa processes related to marketing projects, ensuring alignment with business development pipelines, agency/client Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor invoicing, and project revenue recognition.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaboration with regional creative agencies, media partners, and vendors to ensure client-centric development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
Qualifications

Experience: 9 to 12 years of experience in marketing roles, ideally with a focus on digital marketing strategies and campaign management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Skills: Strong proficiency in strategic documentation, digital-first strategies, and tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Demonstrated ability in data-driven marketing methodologies and collaboration across matrix organizations.

Attributes: Proven track record of creativity, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
