Senior M&E Officer
Location: Niger

Job Purpose: The Senior M&E Officer will spearhead research and MEAL activities, ensuring data quality and strengthening health information systems for the SMC-VAS Campaign project in Niger. Reporting to the Country M&E Manager, this role will play a vital part in monitoring and evaluating project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement M&E activities, providing technical support for the SMC-VAS integrated campaign.
- Develop and maintain the MEL plan and evaluation protocols, ensuring high-quality data for decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and supervise field activities.
- Drive accountability by engaging key populations in monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Facilitate learning events and knowledge management to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with 3 years in research roles.
- Proficiency in database management and statistical analysis.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Desirable:
- Fluency in English.
- Previous experience in mass campaign implementation.
- Knowledge of communicable disease control.
