This pivotal regional role involves building relationships and collaborating with business leaders across Europe. As one of two Senior HR Business Partners supporting 13 European countries, this role demands deep technical expertise alongside high emotional intelligence (EQ). It's a substantial opportunity for an experienced HR professional comfortable with data-driven insights, crafting talent strategies, and spearheading programs that drive long-term growth for our team of BlackLiners.
Senior People Partners engage with the business in a consultative, hands-on manner, identifying talent needs, forecasting and planning organizational development and internal mobility, and leading strategic, project-based initiatives that bridge people and business objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a collaborative partner in a highly engaged, international Human Resources team, serving as a role model and providing coaching and mentorship to business leaders and early-career HR professionals.
- Deliver exceptional HR support to our Go-To-Market (GTM) function across Europe.
- Leverage deep HR expertise to design, recommend, and implement complex HR programs and policies that merge strategic insight with operational execution.
- Provide coaching and guidance to business leaders at various levels within the region.
- Collaborate with business leaders and financial partners on workforce planning and succession strategies.
- Establish critical talent metrics and KPIs to gauge business performance, proactively identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze trends, inform decision-making, and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and retention.
- Adapt and implement organization-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs across the EMEA region.
- Support various cyclical programs, including performance reviews, compensation reviews, and global engagement surveys.
- Serve as a thought leader, collaborating closely with our Talent Development team to shape development programs for high-potential employees and key talent.
- Partner with our Total Rewards team to align compensation practices with market expectations.
- Design and execute change management efforts and communication strategies related to HR and other organization-wide initiatives.
- Support ER investigations, partnering with internal and external legal counsel as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with our People shared services and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive best practices and continuous process improvement.
- Exercise discretion and sound judgment in administering internal policies and controls in compliance with relevant legislation (e.g., SOX, Information Security, ESG, internal audits).
- Serve as the HR representative for our French Works Council.
Your Background
Experience Required
- Accomplished HR leader with at least 10 years of progressive experience in HR business partner roles, preferably within a global and/or tech-oriented environment.
- Education: University degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in French is essential due to interaction requirements with the French Works Council.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational acumen, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and quickly grasp organizational dynamics.
- A trusted advisor capable of engaging stakeholders in challenging discussions, challenging assumptions, advising on talent implications, and proposing alternative solutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge in organizational design, staffing, learning and development practices, and employment law matters.
- Skilled in project management fundamentals, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in information presentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability in the face of change, ambiguity, and risk.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS (SuccessFactors is a plus), and ATS platforms (iCIMS preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude committed not only to addressing challenges but also preventing them.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a global organization.
- Previous experience supporting a GTM function and collaborating with Sales leaders.
- Familiarity with SaaS environments and the technology industry.
