Job Description:

We are seeking an adept Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at Nestoil Limited. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead process engineering initiatives to optimize production and ensure the efficient execution of engineering programs. Your responsibilities will encompass driving holistic process optimization strategies, coaching and mentoring the field engineering team, and devising innovative solutions to enhance the quality of oil and water separation at key facilities like Odidi, Jones Creek, Batan, and Egwa.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement process engineering programs to enhance production facility performance.
2. Troubleshoot facilities comprehensively to identify bottlenecks and devise solutions for optimal performance and increased production.
3. Review management of change proposals and implement modifications to uphold safety, environmental standards, and equipment reliability.
4. Oversee the process to ensure crude oil meets export quality standards (BS&W less than 0.5%) and drive the implementation of a field-wide cathodic protection program to mitigate corrosion risks.
5. Mentor and guide the field engineering team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers or relevant engineering body.
• Proven track record of success in complex process facility management.
• Adaptability to challenges inherent in the Niger Delta Oil and Gas fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Process Engineering within the oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in process engineering tools such as HYSYS, Pipephase, etc., with the capability to develop PFDs and P&IDs.
• Experience in the Niger Delta oil and gas fields is advantageous.
