Nestoil, Nigeria’s leading Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the Oil and Gas sector, seeks to hire a skilled Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical.
Joining our dynamic team, you'll spearhead facilities engineering activities, ensuring production optimization and cost-effective execution of engineering programs. Your role involves driving holistic project management for sustainable production operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project engineering programs for enhanced production facility performance.
- Serve as the primary expert on mechanical engineering matters.
- Lead efforts to optimize the performance of rotating equipment across fields.
- Conduct comprehensive studies to troubleshoot facilities, devising solutions for optimal performance and increased production.
- Review management of change proposals, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and reliability standards.
- Drive projects involving rotating equipment, such as Odidi MCM 1 and 2 Revamp, Jones Creek Gas Lift Project, and Generators performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Membership of the Nigeria Society of Engineers.
- Minimum 10 years of Project Management and Mechanical Engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in Niger Delta oil and gas fields is advantageous.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record in change management for process improvement.
- Adaptability to challenges in Niger Delta Oil and Gas fields.
- Proficiency in working efficiently in a multidisciplinary team environment.
