What You Will Do
- Assist in maintaining a dynamic material inventory, prioritizing route planning for optimized efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure proper packing, organization, and transportation of all issued materials and equipment.
- Install lamps, ballasts, and various lighting components in different fixture types.
- Occasional travel and night work may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Proficiency in fluorescent, HID, and LED systems.
- Minimum 2-3 years of prior experience in lighting/electrical installation.
- NALMCO CALT or CSLT certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions in the last 3-5 years).
- DOT medical examiner's card.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- High standards for workmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service mindset with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with lighting control systems such as Lutron, Venstar, Siemens, and profile control systems.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to lift and pull heavy objects repetitively (50+ lbs.).
- Driving a service truck with GVW up to 26,000 lbs.
- Work in warehouse settings and customer locations.
- Work indoors on ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and outdoors on bucket trucks up to a height of 55'.
