As part of Shell’s Projects & Engineering (P&E) team, you will lead in delivering world-class assets across Shell’s portfolio, providing engineering support for upstream, downstream, integrated gas, and new energy ventures. The P&E team ensures that Shell’s projects are delivered to the highest standards while maintaining an inclusive and diverse work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multi-discipline team of Project Services (PS) engineers for Bonga Main Capex, focusing on project delivery from pre-DG3 to post-DG3 stages.
- Oversee PS activities, including Estimating, Cost Engineering, Risk Management, and Benchmarking.
- Ensure timely and quality submissions for cost, scheduling, and risk assessments in project documentation and budget planning.
- Drive collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, engineering disciplines, finance, and procurement departments.
- Ensure successful project outcomes by aligning internal strategies with the goals of various stakeholders.
What We Need From You
- Must possess an Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 12 years of extensive oil & gas industry experience, with at least 8 years in upstream projects.
- Experience managing multi-discipline engineering teams in Brownfield projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Services Management, Cost Estimating, Risk Management, and Benchmarking.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
