Description:

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead daily operational endeavors at the plant and supervise the designated team.
- Ensure plant performance aligns with contractual obligations within assigned responsibilities.
- Foster competence development among operational resources and the assigned team.
- Uphold plant and equipment condition in adherence to relevant guidelines and policies, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- Execute work at the plant in compliance with Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, along with customer site procedures and assigned operation plans.
- Compile reports, operational/maintenance plans, and budgets as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Validate maintenance schedules, considering plant operational necessities.
- Conduct Risk Assessments before commencing any maintenance activities.
- Monitor and enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage by all employees.
- Review daily work progress, ensuring adherence to plans and minimizing rework.
- Apply troubleshooting expertise to address operational and maintenance issues.
- Disseminate technical bulletins, safety, and quality updates to bolster team knowledge.
- Lead training initiatives and cater to the training and developmental needs of new operations team members.
- Proactively identify and enhance operational reliability and plant availability.
- Monitor and optimize plant operational costs.
- Enhance operational working routines at the plant.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake additional duties delegated by the Operation Manager as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Power Plant operations.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
