Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Supervisor to oversee production activities in our Awka facility. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency, meeting production targets, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Supervise and manage production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring optimal output and smooth operations.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and control production processes to meet established targets and maximize efficiency.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain accurate production documentation, and oversee the operation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate the tasks of production workers to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Staffing and Training: Ensure adequate staffing and provide necessary training to support continuous production.
- Reporting: Share detailed daily reports on production metrics, performance, and downtime with the management team.
- Shift Transition: Facilitate smooth transitions between production operations during shift changes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that production outputs consistently meet the company’s quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience leading a manufacturing or production team.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Excel for reporting, and a strong understanding of production processes.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated crisis management skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Critical thinking skills and an eye for detail to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work night or day shifts as needed.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
- Preference for Onsite Living: Applicants willing to live onsite will be given added consideration.
