Key Responsibilities
- Handle all import shipping documentation (Air & Sea).
- Coordinate global import logistics and cargo planning, liaising with foreign suppliers, manufacturers, and forwarders.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping procedures and Nigerian regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient shipping strategies in collaboration with the transit team.
- Propose and enhance shipping section procedures and policies to improve operations.
- Maintain a comprehensive shipping database and monitor international shipping trends.
- Prepare reports on shipping activities and data analysis.
- Advise on shipping documentation, ensuring all parties adhere to best practices and compliance.
- Coordinate with government agencies for import/export processes.
- Perform additional tasks as required by management.
Required Profile
- A graduate in a Social Science discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in international trade/shipping.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computing software relevant to shipping and logistics.
