Job Description:
In this dynamic role, the Site Engineer will play apivotal role in the successful execution of construction projects. Responsibilities include:
Project Planning:
Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop detailed project plans encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Site Management:
Overseeing day-to-day operations at construction sites, including supervision of laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and high-quality work delivery.
Quality Control:
Conducting regular inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Safety Compliance:
Implementing and enforcing stringent safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel on-site.
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings to ensure transparency and accountability.
Problem-Solving:
Swiftly identifying and resolving construction-related challenges to minimize disruptions and delays, ensuring projects stay on track.
Coordination:
Collaborating with stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities to address project requirements, resolve conflicts, and secure necessary approvals.
Cost Management:
Monitoring project costs and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing measures to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Salary:
Competitive monthly salary ranging from N250,000 to N350,000.
