Job Description:
As a Vessel Supervisor, you'll be entrusted with overseeing the daily technical and operational facets concerning assigned vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising pivotal and high-risk vessel operations
- Managing and supervising worksite vessels
- Enforcing safe work methods and fostering a culture of behavioral safety
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards pertaining to vessel operations
- Maintaining a safe working environment through hazard observations and inspections
- Responding to vessel casualties and emergencies, ensuring life preservation and asset protection
- Providing round-the-clock availability for emergency response situations
- Overseeing vessel staff and technical management activities
- Fulfilling additional duties as directed by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Marine Transportation or Marine Engineering
- Proficiency in PC and systems usage
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective business communication
- Prior experience in vessel management and full field shutdown operations
- Minimum three years of experience in shipyard or ship management roles
