Job Responsibilities
As an STNA, you will care for guests under the supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking and recording vital signs.
- Measuring and recording height, weight, intake, and output.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Helping with eating and hydration.
- Observing and reporting changes in guests’ skin condition to a licensed nurse and providing necessary skin care.
- Meeting the mental health and social service needs of guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- STNA certification.
