- Digital Education: What steps can be taken to bridge the digital divide and improve access to quality education?
- Youth Unemployment: How can Nigeria create more job opportunities and entrepreneurial pathways for its growing youth population?
- Economic Stability: What practical reforms are needed to drive sustainable economic growth?
Your essay should provide creative, practical solutions that address these challenges and foster positive change in Nigeria.
Eligibility for the Steve Ogah Essay Competition
The competition is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in any government-owned university or polytechnic in Nigeria. Students from all faculties and departments are encouraged to participate, as long as they meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen.
- Must be enrolled in a public university or polytechnic.
- Must submit an original, unpublished essay written solely by the student.
Prize for the Winning Essay
The winner of the Steve Ogah Essay Competition will receive a full undergraduate scholarship covering tuition fees for the remainder of their degree program. This is a unique opportunity to gain financial support while contributing to Nigeria’s future.
