Job Summary
The Store Officer will play a critical role in maintaining and managing the company’s inventory system, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting overall inventory control. The ideal candidate will oversee daily stock-related tasks to avoid overstocking, minimize outdated inventory, and streamline store operations for efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Process store requisitions on a daily basis and ensure timely issuance of required stock items.

Raise Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for all new purchases to ensure proper documentation.

Conduct day-to-day reconciliation of physical stock with inventory records.

Verify that all invoiced materials align with physical stock items delivered.

Ensure purchased items match approved prices stated in the Purchase Requisition.

Organize and conduct periodic stock audits to assess inventory accuracy.

Arrange stock items systematically on designated shelves for accessibility and ease of management.

Ensure that all updated Goods Received Notes are reviewed and signed off appropriately.

Address any additional assignments as delegated by the Head of Finance or Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Background: B.Sc in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Economics, or a related discipline.

Experience with accounting software will be an added advantage.

Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant work experience in inventory or store management.
Technical Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.

Proficiency in reconciliation, inventory control, and troubleshooting.

Strategic thinking abilities with a focus on efficient task execution.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly
