About the Role

A forward-thinking training institute committed to reskilling the Nigerian workforce for both local and global career opportunities is seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Partnerships Manager. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of the technology training and professional development landscape in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will lead business development efforts, drive revenue growth, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business expansion and revenue growth.

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.

  • Brand Development: Support marketing and social media efforts to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

  • Product Innovation: Develop and refine product offerings to align with market needs and industry advancements.

  • Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish governance frameworks and implement quality assurance measures to ensure excellence in service delivery.

  • Industry Insights & Competitive Analysis: Research global EdTech trends and competitor strategies to position the company as a leader in the market.

  • Customer Acquisition & Engagement: Lead customer recruitment initiatives for both B2B and B2C segments.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, government agencies, and industry influencers.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Support business growth initiatives through various ad-hoc projects and strategic efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in sales or business development are an advantage.

  • Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience.

  • At least 4 years of direct experience in sales or business development.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within the technology sector or a related industry.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships and secure new partnerships.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Well-connected within Nigeria’s ICT ecosystem, with established contacts in corporate and government sectors.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing, and Web3.

  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and managing complete sales cycles (B2B and B2C).

  • Basic knowledge of HR management processes and experience in managing training programs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

Compensation

  • Salary Range: N350,000 – N400,000 per month
