Job Title: Team Lead, Account and Reconciliation

Responsibilities
- Oversee the reconciliation of all accounts linked to Treasury and Investment Operations, including Nostro, Vostro, General Ledgers (GLs), Suspense accounts, Receivables, Payables, and Blotters, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement of underlying trade transactions.
- Enforce compliance with call-over control requirements, ensuring all processes meet established standards.
- Administer and manage reconciliation data, reports, and files, maintaining a high level of accuracy and security.
- Ensure adherence to corporate standards and procedures in all account reconciliation activities, promoting best practices within the team.
- Provide functional and hands-on training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with relevant teams, departments, and subsidiaries both within and outside the department to ensure seamless reconciliation processes.
- Support the Bank’s process and control improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of operational efficiency.
- Monitor and reconcile daily TPGL reports, ensuring alignment between Calypso and Ledger records.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in Treasury Operations (TROPS) functions, with a strong understanding of financial reconciliation processes.
- A first degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- TROPS Certification (ACI) is required; a master’s degree and other relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
