Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the bank’s Small-Medium Enterprises (SME) portfolio by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones.

• Identify target businesses and enterprise segments for banking solutions.

• Provide expert financial advice and customized business banking solutions to clients.

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key business clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

• Leverage industry knowledge in finance, banking, credit, and risk management to enhance customer engagement and optimize financial solutions.

• Support branches in credit opportunities and ensure effective risk management in loan disbursements.

• Utilize referral networks and centers of influence to identify and cultivate potential business relationships.

• Stay updated on market trends, monitor competitors, and provide insights for business growth.

• Conduct capacity-building sessions for customers to improve their financial knowledge and product adoption.

• Adhere to regulatory requirements and sound risk management protocols to protect the bank.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in banking, marketing, and credit.

• Proven track record in commercial banking and client relationship management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and financial advisory.

• Must be a resident of Kano.
