About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, acquiring new partners, and optimizing relationships with existing partners. Reporting to the General Manager, Platform as a Service, this role will focus on driving the developer solution business and ensuring the success of our clients’ technical needs. TAMs will manage relationships with key partners to grow the business and deliver optimal solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Sales Pipeline Management: Drive new business acquisition and ensure successful partner activation.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and sponsors.
- Technical Support: Provide pre- and post-activation technical support for clients.
- Product Status Communication: Share product updates with the team and stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Liaison: Collaborate with departments like legal, marketing, finance, and customer support.
- 24/7 Partner Support: Ensure clients and partners have round-the-clock access to support.
- Training and Query Resolution: Educate customers on the developer solution and resolve product-related inquiries promptly.
- Performance Reporting: Provide stakeholders with insights into product performance.
- Business Development: Lead efforts to explore new business opportunities in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development, sales, or technical support with a focus on international clients.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in API testing tools
- Strong people management, technical, and sales skills
- Commercial awareness and experience managing global contracts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
