We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager with a solid scientific background to drive sales efforts within the construction chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to increase sales, forge strong client relationships, and provide technical expertise to enhance the sales process. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and increasing market share.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities, draft compelling sales proposals, and lead contract negotiations with potential clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, track competitor activity, and anticipate customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of technical sales specialists and engineers, ensuring their professional development and success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure the alignment and effective implementation of sales strategies.

Key Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience in technical sales or business development, with a focus on construction chemicals being a distinct advantage.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading teams, including sales engineers and technical sales specialists.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, along with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Technical Knowledge: A robust understanding of chemical processes, plant operations, and construction methodologies is highly desirable.
- Track Record: A proven ability to drive sales growth, build strong client relationships, and create effective sales strategies.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: N350,000 - N500,000 per month.
- Other Benefits: Attractive benefits package based on performance and experience.
