Position: Technical Store Keeper
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stock and inventory control processes, ensuring the timely reordering of spare parts using predetermined reorder levels (ROL) and Economic Order Quantities (EOQ), as established in Maximo software.
- Implement and uphold the 5S principles within the technical store, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Manage the entire purchase-to-pay process for all technical items and services, acting as the process owner to ensure seamless operations.
- Actively participate in and supervise the monthly stock-taking exercises, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Regularly assess and optimize reorder levels and economic order quantities to prevent stockouts and ensure the availability of essential spare parts required for operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in a similar role, particularly within a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to focus on critical tasks and achieve results efficiently.
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and inventory management.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP, especially related to inventory and stock management.
