Job Description
As a Technician at Mondelez International, you will leverage your technical expertise to ensure optimal performance of processes and equipment in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance strategies while collaborating with diverse teams to drive excellence in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support line leaders in achieving Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale (SQCDSM) targets.
- Lead the implementation of Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems and work processes.
- Ensure process stability by managing technology, process settings, and Centerline Management systems.
- Develop preventive and time-based maintenance systems, enabling the team to execute independently.
- Build technical skills within the team to ensure effective equipment operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvements, breakdown analysis, and cost reduction.
- Represent the department as the site technology expert in regional and global forums.
- Assist with Vertical Start-Up (VSU) initiatives for new projects and participate in benchmarking activities.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are driven to grow their careers and have the following qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems, including TPM tools and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead roles within a manufacturing line and coach team members.
- Experience in developing and managing individual development plans (IDPs) and goal alignment for team members.
- Expertise in Manufacturing/FMCG environments, with experience in:
- Boiler house operations
- Air compressor equipment
- Water supply systems
- Utility systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of IL6S is an added advantage.
Educational Requirements
- OND or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
