We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Training Manager, based in Lagos, on a full-time basis. The Training Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our employees receive the necessary training and development to effectively perform their roles.
Job Summary:
The Training Manager will oversee the design, development, and implementation of training programs that align with our company's goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves identifying training needs, creating training materials, delivering sessions, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting orientation programs, evaluating performance, managing budgets, maintaining records, and continuously improving training practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Identify training needs through collaboration with departments and needs assessments.
- Create training materials and deliver sessions on various topics.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Incorporate technology and e-learning platforms into training programs.
- Collaborate with departments and external organizations for training needs.
- Manage the training budget and maintain accurate records.
- Review and update training materials regularly.
- Develop and conduct emergency response training programs.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- 5-10 years of experience in training management.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages and other software.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the industry.
