Major Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in budget management and cost control of transport activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Manage end-to-end logistics, fleet management, and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with drivers, logistics staff, and customers to manage schedules and resolve issues.
- Prepare reports on transport operations, including performance metrics and cost analysis.
- Implement best practices for route optimization and fuel efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in transport or logistics management.
- Proficiency in transport/logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Applicants must be tech-savvy.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
