Applications are now open for qualified individuals seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs at the prestigious College of Nursing, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Benin City.
Admission for 2024/2025 Session
Aspiring candidates are hereby notified that the admission process for the College of Nursing's 2024/2025 session is currently underway. To be considered for admission, applicants must register for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) and present their JAMB score sheet indicating a minimum score of 180.
Entry Requirements and Procedures
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Obtain a minimum score of 180 in the 2024 JAMB examination.
- Attain a minimum of credit pass in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in not more than two sittings at O/level, WAEC, or NECO.
- If UBTH College of Nursing was not initially chosen as the first choice institution, candidates are required to effect a change of institution to UBTH, Benin City, at the nearest JAMB accredited center.
- Pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (NGN 2,000.00) only into UBTH REMITA after creating a profile.
- Upload scanned copies of the following documents while purchasing the post UTME FORM:
- JAMB result slip
- JAMB change of institution slip
- WAEC/NECO results
- Birth Certificate
- Passport photographs
- Ensure the O/L result is uploaded to the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
- Sales of the Post UTME form will commence on the 7th of June, 2024.
- The Post UTME Screening test is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 31st August, 2024, at 9 am prompt.
